About me
Elisabeth Muller Stein Counselling & Psychotherapy
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
I am a Humanistic and Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist.
My work entails general counselling as well as deeper psychotherapy.
I am fully accredited with IACP, IAHIP and BACP.
In 1991, I attended my first foundation course in Counselling and
Psychotherapy. In 1992 I attended the Creative Counselling Centre's
Foundation course. Then in 1994 I began my training in the Tivoli Institute.
Having completed my training as a counsellor and psychotherapist I
subsequently trained another three years in Gestalt therapy with Vincent
Humphreys. I have a diploma in Supervision (93 contact hours) from the
Dublin Counselling & Therapy Centre.
For fours years I worked in groups with students and with clients in Turning
Point and subsequently I worked another three years as a supervisor, group
facilitator and skills trainer in the Tivoli Institute. Subsequently, I worked in
Turning Point (affiliated to DCU, UCC) for another ten years as Tutor, Skills
Trainer, Process Group Facilitator and Supervision Module Co-ordinator.
I ran an Art Therapy Course for seven years, as well as maintaining my own
private practice throughout.
I now work on Zoom with clients in private practice.
